The vacuum system is certified ATEX Category 3 for use in hazardous areas classified as ATEX Zone 22. The inner part of the vacuum system is certified ATEX Category 1D providing a very high level of protection inside the collection tank.
With Tiger-Vac vacuum system model C-10 EX you can safely collect on a regular basis a significant quantity of combustible dusts.
Tiger-Vac model C-10 EX is certified for dust group IIIC and can be used in potentially explosive atmospheres where conductive dusts are present. As such, and since vacuum system model C-10 EX provides a very high level of protection inside the collection tank, it can be used to safely collect fine metal dusts such as aluminum dust.
